Bart Vanschoebeke

Bart assiste les clients en droit du travail et en droit de la sécurité sociale. Dans sa pratique, il traite les aspects de contrats de travail, licenciement, restructuration d'entreprise, comités d'entreprise européens et sécurité sociale européenne.

Il donne de nombreux séminaires et a publié différents articles en la matière (par exemple, un ouvrage approfondi sur le licenciement collectif et fermeture). Bart est membre du comité scientifique du JTT (journal des tribunaux de travail) et  a été nommé comme expert dans l'édition 2018 de Chambers and Partners : "Bart Vanschoebeke is a long-standing employment adviser, providing advice at the domestic and EU level. Vanschoebeke pays particular service to contracts, dismissals and restructuring." Dans l’édition de 2021, il fut mentionné comme suit : “ Bart Vanschoebeke advises clients on a range of employment mandates, including dismissals, contracts and works council matters. A client declares that he delivers "an exemplary work," while another client reports that he is "a pleasant guy to talk to." Cette année, une personne interrogée décrit Bart comme : "an "excellent lawyer who is very logical." He advises clients on a range of employment mandates, including dismissals, contracts and works council matters.”

Who’s Who Legal: Labour & Employment 2018 mentionne Bart comme suit : "Bart Vanschoebeke’s expertise spans the gamut of employment matters including contracts, dismissals, social security and restructuring on a European level. He is widely known and well respected within the international market, receiving nominations from peers around the world.".

Bart est licencié en droit de l'Université de Louvain (K.U.Leuven ; 1992) et a obtenu une licence spéciale en droit social à l'Université de Bruxelles (ULB ; 1993). En 2002, il créé le bureau Claeys & Engels à Gand.
