Bart Vanschoebeke

Bart Vanschoebeke focuses on various aspects of labour law and social security, including the law on employment contracts, dismissals, restructuring, European Works Councils and European social security.

He frequently lectures on these topics and has various labour law publications (for example, an extensive book on collective dismissal and closure) to his name. Bart graduated from the University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven; 1992) and has a special degree in labour law from the University of Brussels (ULB; 1993). In 2002 he started the Claeys & Engels office in Ghent.
