Justin Lennertz
Justin advises clients on tax and social security matters.
His practice covers all legal, tax and social security aspects of the optimization of compensation structures and payroll costs, in both national and international contexts.
He assists with flexible compensation plans, incentive plans, profit premiums, stock options and warrants, benefits in kind, employee benefits, mobility budgets, copyright fees, costs proper to the employer, occupational pensions, wage withholding tax exemptions, as well as with regard to the choice of professional status (employee, self-employed, company director, management company). This includes both advice and numerical simulations.
Clients can also contact him for all their questions relating to international mobility, including salary splits, tax equalization systems, incoming taxpayer status, and cross-border social security.
Justin also assists taxpayers in preparing and filing their tax returns, and defends their interests before the tax and social security authorities, both in administrative and judicial proceedings.
Justin joined Claeys & Engels in September 2021 and has been a member of the Brussels Bar since then.
Justin graduated from the University of Liège, where he obtained a master's degree in law in 2021. He also holds an additional master's degree in tax law, as well as a master's degree in economics and management from HEC Management School of the University of Liège.
