Ines is specialised in commercial and company law.

She advises clients on a daily basis on all sorts of commercial and independent service agreements, such as distribution-, commercial agent-, consultancy- and franchise agreements. Ines focuses also on diverse aspects of corporate law through advices, analyses or litigations. She has extensive knowledge of the rules and procedures relating to (unfair) market practices and advices in procedures relating to the seizure of assets.

She represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings in these areas.

In 2013, Ines started as a lecturer commercial law at the University Ghent. She is co-author of a contribution about the termination of distribution agreements in Tijdschrift voor Privaatrecht.

In June 2013, Ines graduated in law with high merit from the University of Ghent. Ines obtained also her Master's degree in Criminological Science. In 2018 she graduated as a Data Protection Officer at Howest Bruges

In 2013, Ines started her internship at the Courtrai Bar. In 2018 Ines joined Claeys & Engels as an associate.
