Patrick Maerten

Patrick’s professional activities consist, for the most part, of rendering advice on labour law to Belgian and foreign companies and in assisting businesses through the process of outsourcing, mergers and restructurings. He focuses especially on working time, employee participation schemes, contracts of management and collective labour relations.

Patrick is also the author of a large number of publications in the area of labour law and regularly participates as a speaker at seminars.

He has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 1995. He graduated from the University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven) in 1994. He was awarded a Masters degree in Law in 1995 by the University of Münster (Germany) and a degree in Labour law by the University of Brussels in 1996.
