Mathis began his legal studies in 2020 at KULAK in Kortrijk and obtained his Master of Laws from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in 2025, graduating with distinction. He subsequently pursued a specialised master’s degree in social law (“Master de spécialisation en droit social”) at the Université libre de Bruxelles, which he completed in 2026 with great distinction.
In September 2026, Mathis took the oath before the Dutch-speaking Bar of Brussels. He subsequently joined Claeys & Engels.
Mathis advises on matters relating to both national and international employment law and pension law.
