Marcel obtained his master's degree in law with distinction from Ghent University in 2024. He specialised in criminal and civil procedural law. He pleaded in the final of the international LawInSport Moot Court competition (2023) before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. He focuses on employment law and criminal (social) law.
Marcel joined the Claeys & Engels team on 2 September 2024 and is a member of the Dutch-speaking Bar of Brussels.
