Luc advises clients on a daily basis with respect to the functioning of corporate bodies (delegating authority, organizing decision-making structures, status and function of corporate bodies, corporate governance, corporate law, etc.). He drafts numerous contracts (management agreements, mandates, service contract and so on) and assists clients in negotiating these contracts. Luc also has extensive experience of legal proceedings be it in the event of trade disputes, directors’ liability issues or conflicts between contract partners.

Business criminal law and conflict management in which the company is facing fraud are topics of particular interest to him. Moreover, Luc regularly advises companies facing occupational accidents or safety controls and problems with employee well-being at work.

Luc is a regular speaker at internal and external seminars and has also published several legal articles. He is co-author of "Manuel de la continuité des entreprises et de la faillite" (Handbook of Business Continuity and Bankruptcy). He is also lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Liège.

Luc secured his law degree in 1989 at the University of Liège. He was a founding member of Claeys & Engels. He is member of the Brussels and Liège Bar.
