Henri-François Lenaerts is one of the founding partners of Claeys & Engels.

He specialises in labour and employment law and advises clients in particular on company restructuring (closure, collective dismissal and transfer), relations with trades unions and their representatives within companies, the employment of workers (choice of status, protective systems, harassment at work issues, ...) and dismissals. He also provides assistance to companies during social inspections (social security, well-being at work, ...).

Henri-François has published a numerous books and articles on these subjects and regularly leads seminars on those topics.

Henri-François graduated from the University of Louvain (UCL - June 1990 - magna cum laude) and obtained a special degree in labour and economic law at the University of Ghent (RUGent - June 1991 - cum laude). He started his career as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in 1991 within the firm Loeff Claeys Verbeke and was a founding partner in Claeys & Engels when it was set up in January 2001.
