Reform of the Social Penal Code

Dear reader,

The Act of 15 May 2024, amending social criminal law and various labour law provisions, thoroughly reformed the Social Penal Code.

The amendments entered into force on 1 July 2024, and include, among other things, an adjustment of sanction levels 3 and 4, an increase or decrease in the sanction level for existing breaches, the introduction of entirely new breaches, a revision of the rules on recidivism and concurrence, changes in the powers of social inspectors, etc.
