Since September 2026, Sophie has been a member of the Dutch Order of the Brussels Bar and joined Claeys & Engels in the same year as a trainee lawyer. She is active within the firm's supplementary pensions team.
Sophie obtained her Master of Laws from KU Leuven with distinction. Subsequently she furthered her expertise in European social security law by obtaining an LL.M. from KU Leuven with great distinction.
