Aurore Smets

Aurore has been a member of the French-speaking Brussels Bar since September 2026. She joined the Claeys & Engels team the same year. She is active in various branches of individual and collective employment law.

During her university studies, Aurore completed an internship at the Constitutional Court and an internship in the public law department of a law firm.

Aurore holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles and a master’s degree in public and international law from Université Libre de Bruxelles, both magna cum laude. She subsequently obtained an Advanced master’s in social law from Université Libre de Bruxelles, graduating summa cum laude.
