As explained in our previous newsflash , on 11 June, the House of Representatives passed the bill regarding the suspension of the notice period during the periods of Corona unemployment.
This Act was published today, 22 June 2020, in the Belgian State Gazette and is applicable as of today.
Concretely, this implies that all notice periods that started running after 1 March 2020 will be suspended as of today during the periods in which the employee concerned is Corona unemployed.
