Sara concentrates on individual and collective labour law, as well as on social security law. In the social law context, she has developed a specialization in various matters, including workforce health protection and accident prevention. Her work covers not only the provision of advice but also support with regard to the civil and penal procedures after a work accident. With regard to the latter and other matters, she regularly speaks at seminars and is the author of numerous publications.
Within Ius Laboris, Sara is the co-chair of an international working group of attorneys specialised in the areas of the welfare of employees at work and the associated liability risks for undertakings and managers. This international working group aims to, among others, the exchange of information and knowledge, in view of the creation of suitable practical solutions for undertakings with an international business field.
Sara holds a Law degree from the Gent University (UGent). Between 1999 and 2000, she was a member of the lawyers’ Order of the Gent Bar. Since 2001, she belongs to the lawyers’ Order of the Kortrijk Bar.
