Alongside classic employment law, Kenny is mainly active in criminal and social criminal law. On a daily basis, Kenny assists clients facing investigations and inspections by various social inspectorates into problems of bogus self-employment, prohibited posting, working with foreign subcontractors and violations of safety and welfare at work. Kenny also assists employers who are victims of crimes committed by their employees or third parties.

Kenny has also built-up special expertise in serious industrial accidents. Immediately after a serious industrial accident, Kenny assists employers in their first obligations. Afterwards, Kenny assists clients in contacts with and hearings by the inspection services, communication with victims and surviving relatives, discussions with the Public Prosecutor's Office and pleading before the criminal courts and courts of appeal.

Kenny also focuses on sports law, advising sports clubs of various kinds in the employment law issues they face.

Kenny regularly speaks on the above-mentioned matters during seminars and webinars. In addition, he regularly gives in-house training on the responsibilities and liability of management after a serious workplace accident and the legal obligations of the hierarchical line with regard to well-being at work. Kenny also regularly publishes in legal journals such as Oriëntatie and RABG. Kenny is also a member of the "International Expert Group on Health & Safety" within the international lawyers' alliance Ius Laboris.

In 2013, Kenny obtained his Master of Laws degree from Ghent University. Afterwards, he joined our firm and joined the Kortrijk Bar. In 2017, Kenny had the honour of delivering the solemn opening speech at the Kortrijk Bar entitled "Employment contracts in the lower series of football. Who is (the real) amateur?"
