Julie advises clients on a daily basis with respect to questions regarding individual and collective labour law, such as hiring and dismissal, transfers of undertakings, remuneration, functioning of the representative bodies, etc. Julie regularly pleads before the labour courts.

She has a particular interest in questions regarding flexible working regimes and working time legislation and has gained considerable experience in this area. Julie can guide clients through this legislation and provide pragmatic advice.

She is a regular speaker at internal and external seminars and has published several articles. Julie is co-author of the book “50 jaar Arbeidswet”.

Julie graduated with "high merit" at the Ghent University in 2006 and obtained an Advanced Master of Social Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2007. Since 2007 she is a lawyer at Claeys & Engels and a member of the Ghent Bar.
