Ester advises national and international clients on various aspects of individual and collective labor law. She also regularly assists clients in connection with various aspects of international employment including business migration (single permits, visas and residence of foreign employees) and simultaneous employment in multiple countries.

Ester also regularly collaborates with other members of the Ius Laboris network on cross-border projects and questions. In 2022, she worked for three months in Paris at the law firm Capstan, the French partner of Claeys & Engels within the international alliance Ius Laboris.

Ester regularly speaks at internal and external seminars and is the author of several publications. Thus, she is co-author of the book “Arbeidsmigratie in België: tewerkstelling buitenlandse werknemers” and has already written several articles regarding telework abroad and the labour deal (including in Oriëntatie).

In 2016, Ester obtained her Master of Laws at the Catholic University of Leuven with distinction. In 2017, she obtained an LLM International Business Law at the Catholic University of Lyon and an LLM Corporate and Finance Law at Widener University, School of Law, both with highest distinction. Ester has been a member of the Dutch Order of Lawyers at the Brussels Bar since September 2017. She joined Claeys & Engels as a lawyer in September 2019.
