Caroline has been a member of the Brussels Bar since September 2019. She joined Claeys & Engels as a lawyer in that same month. She is active in the firm’s pension team and advises clients on a daily basis with respect to the different aspects of occupational and statutory pensions. She assists clients with the introduction, the modification, the harmonization and the transfer of (company and industry wide) occupational pension plans, the compliance with the legal framework and governance rules as applicable within the framework of occupational pensions, the drafting of pension fund documents, the setting up of pension funds, as well as the dissolution and liquidation of pension funds.

Caroline also advises companies on a daily basis with respect to all aspects of individual and collective employment law, as well as in corporate governance issues.

Caroline defends clients in court with respect to the abovementioned matters. She is also the author of several legal publications.

Caroline obtained a master’s degree in law at the Université catholique de Louvain in June 2019 (major: civil and criminal justice – additional modules: insurance and liability law) (Cum Laude). In 2022 Caroline also obtained the certificate in Pension Law “Leergang Pensioenrecht” at the KuLeuven (Magna Cum Laude).
