Amaury has been a lawyer at Claeys & Engels since 2015 and is active in various branches of employment law. He assists on a daily basis Belgian and international companies, and public authorities in all aspects of individual and collective employment law, by rendering legal and strategic advice. He regularly pleads before the labour courts (both collective and individual conflicts).

Amaury has a particular interest in GDPR, Privacy and Discrimination matters and is a member of our Expert Group Privacy and Discrimination. He also advises clients in particular on relations with trade unions and their representatives within companies, employment agreements, false self-employment, social elections, strikes, protected workers, unfair competition, prohibited lease of personnel, social inspections, and company restructuring.

Amaury is often seconded to companies in order to provide support to their HR teams to handle daily HR issues.

Amaury is also a teaching assistant in employment law at Université Saint-Louis and a member of CEPRI (Brussels).

He has been a member of the French Order of Lawyers at the Brussels Bar since September 2014.

Amaury obtained a bachelor degree at Université Saint-Louis (2010). After that, he completed his master degree in law − with a specialization in company law − at the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve. During his master, he spent five months at the Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II (2012). In 2014, he also graduated from the Université de Genève and the University of Boston with a complementary master in international and European law.
