The Act of 26 December 2013 concerning the single employment status is one year old. It entered into effect on 1 January 2014 and since that date, white-collar-workers and blue-collar-workers have equal notice periods.
In January 2015, Claeys & Engels will host a seminar and deliver a progress report on the Act, one year after its entry into force.

There is more news! At the moment, for white-collar workers the calculation module not only calculates the notice periods as of January 2014, but also the notice period for the acquired seniority until 31 December 2013. In 2015, this feature will be added to the calculation module for blue-collar workers. It will be possible -by selecting the competent Joint Committee- to also calculate the notice period for blue-collar workers until 31 December 2013. We will inform you as soon as this feature is online.
