The new salary thresholds for 2017
The Federal Public Service Employment has modified the remuneration thresholds to be taken into account for the application of certain employment provisions for blue- and white-collar employees.
As of 1 January 2017, following amounts will apply:

Currently these remuneration thresholds are relevant to check the validity of a non-competition clause, an arbitration clause and an education clause.

As of 1 January 2017, employers have to use the new remuneration thresholds to determine if the non-competition clause, the arbitration clause and the education clause included in an employment contract are valid.
