Determine whether “Cash for Car” is interesting

In cooperation with Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry (BECI), we have placed a calculator tool online with which you can, in a simple manner, determine the employer’s cost as well as the net amount of the mobility allowance the employee could receive if your enterprise were to introduce a “Cash for Car” system.

As already mentioned in a previous newsflash, the Act providing for a mobility allowance (“Cash for Car”) has entered into force. Under certain conditions and within certain limits, it is now possible for an employer to set up a system whereby a company car can be exchanged for a cash amount which is treated more favourably from a tax and social security point of view than the company car which has been traded in.

In cooperation with the BECI, we present to you a calculator tool so that you can easily determine the employer’s cost as well as the net amount of the mobility allowance the employee could receive if your enterprise decides to introduce a “Cash for Car” system.
