Inger Verhelst practises various aspects of labour law and social security law. She advises and assists companies in judicial procedures regarding employment contract law, dismissals, corporate restructuring and collective labour relations. She has a particular interest in questions concerning violence and harassment at work and the European and Belgian law on discrimination in employment relations. She has participated in various seminars and has published numerous articles.

Inger Verhelst graduated from the University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven). She also has a special degree in "Social security in Europe" from the same university in collaboration with the University of Athens. Since 1994, Inger Verhelst is active as a member of the Antwerp Bar, specialized in social and employment law.
